Limited Ability?. Be very careful! My vehicle requires the simple removal of the engine splash guard to change the oil filter and drain the oil. The day after having the oil changed at this shop, the first day at highway speed, the splash guard fell off the one side. Inspection revealed that most parts removed were never put back on. I asked the manager for the parts and was told nothing was removed. After telling him parts must be removed to gain access to the filter and drain plug, he said the parts must have been put back on because if parts are missing the techs write this on the service ticket and nothing was written. When I asked the tech, he said the parts were already missing. When asked why he didn't write anything about missing parts, he said his job was to change the oil; missing parts are not his problem! I find it ironic that this happened after having the oil changed but Monro, didn't remove the parts and didn't see any need to report parts missing contrary to their manager's statement. I know the parts were there since it is obvious when looking at the front of the car and am now faced with paying $250 to fix their ineptitude. If they can't change an oil filter, what else are they unqualified to do? In addition, either the manager or tech is lying. Either the parts were there, I know they were, or they weren't. Neither person say any need to mention anything! If you take your car here, you
