Horrible Attorney Don't Waste Your Money. I am sharing my honest opinion to help others in choosing an Attorney to help them with legal needs. Steve T., you cannot speak for everyone else and their experience. I am not wrong and I am not making my bad experience with him up. He would not return calls, his office was unorganized, when we FINALLY did hear back from him he had his assistant call us. She fumbled her way thru answering a legal questions for us. Serious questions that we paid him to talk over with us. Such as why we paid him and 3 weeks had passed and he had not filed paperwork for our bankruptcy. We showed up at his office the morning our house was due to be sold in 2 hours at public auction, demanded to see him. He had to file an emergency motion to stop it! Why? Because he did not do his job 2weeks prior. There was no explanation, no apology, nothing..for not returning our calls or filing our bankruptcy as he should have. Is this your idea of a professional, competent Attorney?

Mr. Delafield is a good attorney who goes above and beyond to help out his clients. He has always been professional and nice to me. He is a great lawyer to have if you need legal help.

Lawyer Filled Bankruptcy. I hired Mr. Darren Delafield in January to file my bankruptcy. I did not read all the reviews prior to hiring him. When I first hired him, he gave me all my information needed and directed me. After seeing him , I was informed of his bad reviews. I was honestly concerned, but I went into it opened minded, and gave him a chance. I figure if he had a ruff past, maybe he was trying to get himself straight. I read the reviews of him having a messing office. I seen where their was restructing and moving around. I see how that could be called a mess. I never experienced any lost files, but I am a person who never leaves my attention of my business, so I was always anal when it come to him having all the documents that he needed. I only dealt with his assistant, when dropping my payments off, and my inital consultant, when I brought my paper work back. I will have to say, when ever I was confused, he was an email away. He always reassured me, of what I was suppose to be doing with my bankruptcy. I just looked at it as, he was trying to get his lawyers office back, and he done right by me. I always leave reviews, and I only leave honest, and after the fact review. My bankrupty was discharged, and Mr. Delafield explain everything to me. With filing bankruptcy, he was flexible with me making payments, and enable me to understand to start over. He also offered me credit repair counseling, which I am going to do. I was nervous per the reviews I read, but I went with my gut, and it was correct. Each person has had different experiences, with Mr. Delafield, but my experience was honest, and I would rate him as providing me with very good service. If you are interested in hiring him, state your concerns in the beginning, so that he is made aware. I have recomended him to my friend, and 2 of my family members. I have advised them of his reviews, and advised them of my experience. I told them, if they are concern address it with him, and it would be your choice to work with him. But my over all experience was very good.

Good Attorney-Good Experience. I recently hired Mr. Delafield for a bankruptcy and was very pleased with the results. He is a good Attorney, very thorough, even re-cooped garnished wages which had been taken from me. His office staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good Attorney.

Very pleased with our experience. We tried for 2 years on our own to get our money returned to us with no success. Mr. Delafield was professional, courteous, and successful in getting our money returned to us. I would highly recommend him.

Best to research other Attorneys First. In my families experience with this Attorney, we have experienced poor quality service. Specifically, lost files and unorganized Attorney and office staff in general. I strongly recommend interviewing other Attorney's if you're considering this one.
