What a Beautiful Venue!

Reading the other reviews really could put a bad taste in your mouth. But I personally didn't have any trouble with the owner/coordinator or the staff. Everyone was accomidating and helpful. The evening went off without a hitch. I only heard rave reviews from our friends and guests. Every detail was taken care of. Roanoke is really lucky to have such a lovely venue. I wouldn't hesitate to have another function at this venue.

The corinthian Ballroom is a BEAUTIFUL place. However, as I recently discovered, it is not worth the hasstle of working with the owner of the place. She is very unaccomadating. You should be prepared for an outrageous bill, and also be prepared that she will be EXTREMELY rude to all of your vendors. The workers will eat your food, and drink your alocohol during your event in front of your guests. She also cut our event short, it was supposed to end at 10, but she asked our vendors to leave at 9:30(including our DJ) without mentioning a word to us. She will proceed to rush you out of the building, and send you home with half of the food that was left over.

Awful experience!

This ballroom is a beautiful place for a wedding but beware.......the wedding coordinator is not helpful at all. you will pretty much have to do everything for your reception and pay an outrageous amount of money for no reason at all except a huge headache. Also be aware that you will have to cut your reception short......the wedding coordinator/owner will make you and your party leave by 9PM. It is very embarassing to tell your guests that are having a great time at your wedding reception to leave. She turned the A/C off to make it unbearably hot in the ballroom so people would leave. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend it to anyone.
