Fun and Fruitful Shopping Experience.
Olde Salem Mercantile is a fun way to spend an afternoon whether you're buying or just browsing. This store is large, and while much of the home decor in this shop leans toward the nostalgic with country style and antiques, you'll also find some items with a definite contemporary flair.
The staff is friendly--even downright fun: they helped my husband surprise me by leaving a message on the phone saying that the "Ford Candy Company" had the item in that he ordered. I love the pieces we bought for our home there. I always enjoy myself at this store whether I buy anything or not. And don't tell them, but I think their prices are pretty good too.
