I have used A Cut Above Catering several times for small and large events and could not be happier. The owners are professional, know the business inside and out and treat each client with respect and truly want to make each event very special.

The food is the first rate, top quality. All of the dishes were wonderful, above and beyond our expectations. Every aspect of dealing with this company was close to perfect.

I would recommend A Cut Above Catering to anyone planning a small or large event. The cost is very reasonable and it is 100% high quality. The owners were always available to discuss any questions I had and had very creative ideas, which enhanced the beauty of the events.

We are very lucky to have this wonderful business in our community.

I have dealt with A Cut Above Catering for several years now and have also attended functions that they have catered. I have ALWAYS had EXCELLENT service from them and by them. Wether it be the owner's themselves or the staff, they have always been kind, very mannerly, and exceptionally helpful. They make sure the clean up is done, tables put away, trash is taken out, etc before they leave. As for the food, they always bring a little more than is exspected, they also box up left overs for you to take home. They are there for you beck and call to make your event the best it can be. The food is the best of some of the other caterers I have tasted. The recipes they use are simple food made to look so good and taste as good as it looks.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE THAT WANTS THEIR FUNCTION CARRIED OUT JUST THE WAY THEY WANT IT!!

I have been using A Cut Above Catering for several years now. I have always had a good experience and the owners have been a pleasure to work with. I am a sales manager and part of my territory includes the Roanoke area. I often cater lunches for my clients prior to me giving presentations, and to thank them for their business. They were recomended to me by another sales manager who had been using them. He told me how it had made his life so much easier. He was no longer running around town going to different restaurants and stores picking up to-go orders, dealing with the hassle of setting-up and fixing missing items, and then waiting around to clean-up. The cost has been comparable, and depending on what's ordered it's often cheaper. The clients love the food because it's fresh and offer a good variety, Most of my clients have come to know the menu options and deal with the owners and employees directly to get everything the way they want it. They always run the specifics by me so I have no suprises.

I like the fact that the owners or employees are on site to do the set-up and make sure everything is correct. They also come back and do the clean-up. This saves me sooo much time, and eliminates sooo much stress. They get the feed back, address any issues that might arise to try and ensure a better experience the next time. If their are any issues they handle them, not me. As you can see this makes my life so much easier. I can focus on my clients and they can focus on me. I can say with the number of lunches I've hired them for that not all of them went perfect, but I can say they have been profesional and did everything to make things right. Instead of having a stressful day giving one presentaion to one office, I can get presentations in at three different offices and get effective face time with my clients. I do and will continue to recomend them for any event. I have used them for various other events,company and personal, and they never disappoint me. I am sure they can do they same for you, and would not have a problem providing numerous reference!

Best Graduation Party. I attended a college graduation party that A Cut Above Catering provided there services for. The food was extremely tasteful. There was plenty of food and a large variety. There was something for everyone!

The staff arrived early and had everything set up and looking great. The two staff members helped serve us and gave us all great descriptions of the food. After the event was over they boxed up the extra food they had prepared. They also picked up all the trash and took it with them so we didn't have to mess with it. We couldn't ask for better customer service. They even drove over an hour for this event. If you need a caterer, they are a must have.

Above and Beyond. I attended a two day event that was catered by A Cut Above Catering. The first day they cooked a whole pig. They started early in the morning and cooked for fourteen hours before they even served us. The next day they did our lunch and had the juiciest chicken and melt in your mouth roast beef, that they carved and served us. The customer service was above and beyond. The staff refilled our drinks for us and collected our dirty plates and silverware off of our tables. The staff also helped set up for some of the other events that had nothing to do with the food. I would highly recommend them and will use them and them only for any future events that I have.

Best catering company. A Cut Above Catering catered my lunch last week. Their service was remarkable and the hickory chicken was amazing. I recommend them to anybody and I will definitely be doing business with them again.

Would Not Recommend This Caterer. Attended a wedding catered by this vendor on April 21, 2012 and would never use or recommend them. They arrived at the venue 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and were totally unorganized and unprepared.

As the wedding ceremony was beginning they had to be told to cease their set-up because of the amount of noise they were making. The quality of the service and food was totally lacking.

DO NOT USE THEM. This catering company turn my daughter's wedding into a disaster! They sent two "hired helped" (they promised both owner's would be there) and the hired help was clueless what to do! They were contracted to be there at 1pm (wedding at 3) and they showed up at 2:40pm.

They will promise you the world to get your business but your wedding or any event will turn into a disaster!

Please don't use them! Worse company (if you want to call it that!) in the Roanoke, Salem, Boonesmill, and Smith Mountain Lake area I have ever had to deal with.

When I got my invoice handed to me I told them I wanted to speak with the owner. When they got her on the phone she said she had to go to her daughter's game and that is why she wasn't there (hello ~ I paid you to be there it was my daughter's wedding and it's YOUR business agreement ~ company).

They would not return calls, emails unanswered, and the most disfunctional businesses I have ever worked with.

All I can say is, DO NOT USE THEM! I am SO sorry I did.

You can't repeat your wedding day, or a special event, don't let this company distroy it!

BRIDES BEWARE. TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A CATERER,

At first your impression of this place will wow you, but in the end you will be kicking yourself for ever using them. Where do I even start, them drinking my alcohol at my event, not bringing hardly enough food, or them packing up and leaving as soon as my mother wrote them a check. They came unprepared, even after multiple emails to the owners to go over everything and even doing a run thru at the venue 3 weeks prior to event. They called my mother a liar.

I used them to cater my wedding in 2009 and the list of how they screwed up kept growing weeks after the event was over. They showed up late, and they did not bring enough food or silverware. We supplied our own alcohol because we are picky wine drinkers and preferred to pick our favorite bottles. There were approximately 50 people at the event and we planned for 100. The food was gone after 15 minutes, their excuse was that all the teenagers came and had multple plates. We had a total of 3 teenagers at the event. The owner of the B&B saw the owner of the catering company drinking our alcohol. Not only was he drinking but also driving, because he nearly ran down the B&B's neighbor coming off the mountain. He decided when he left that he would take the rest of my wine with him. They also stole the beautiful flowers that belonged to the owners of the B&B.

PLEASE NEVER USE THESE EXTREMELY DISHONEST PEOPLE.
